Lost Henry is a theatrical emo and post-hardcore rock band stationed in Cincinnati, Ohio. Fox & Goose is their latest single about an old German metaphor from the Brothers Grimm about spiritual corruption.
The colors only being on the outline represent spirituality and finding oneself! Pink and Purple were chosen as the final by the client to give a less defined good versus evil but still able to compliment each other.
Let's dive into how it's made
These are the original sketches for this project. Quick and fast to get the idea out and once the sketch on the right was selected it was time for more detailed sketches to get the composition down.
I wanted the fox and goose to be at odds with one another. The goose is in a more defensive stance because it is weary of the fox jumping up. I sketched both of these out with colored pencils to get an idea of what colors I wanted. The blue and and the orange were my original idea because complimentary colors give a sense of opposition.
